Become a Friend of The Mill and help to guarantee our future in Walthamstow!
We are an independent charity and rely on volunteers and fundraising to ensure we continue as a creative community space. In order to raise funds, we rent space to community groups and events six days a week, and the upstairs rooms of the building are rented by local businesses. We also rely on the support of local people, who give generously through our fundraising events and our collecting tins. As a community group, we exist to create stronger connections between people, to encourage everyone to share their skills and time, and to develop and express their creativity. We are committed to reflecting the interests and priorities of local people, and in being a trusted part of the community. We need your help to ensure we continue to offer our much-loved services.
As a Friend of The Mill, your donation will go directly to help maintain the work of The Mill, and keep it open for the hundreds of people who visit every year. As a Friend of The Mill, you’ll get exclusive newsletters, invites to exclusive Friend’s Events, to other events and celebrations taking place at The Mill and have access to our Friends Forum where your voice will be heard on many issues concerning The Mill and our wider community.
There are four different Friend of The Mill annual subscriptions:
- Individual £24
- Family £32
- Unwaged £10
- Corporate £100
You can sign up as a Friend of The Mill online using paypal or to sign up for direct debit or pop into The Mill for a Friend’s form and to chat to our lovely receptionists!
