A new, fun and exciting music workshop will begin soon at The Mill.
Four 1-hour weekly Ukulele workshops on Friday afternoons, from 3pm to 4pm, will start on 20 November 2015 until 11 December 2015, and aim to provide people will the opportunity to come together and make music in a supportive and inclusive environment. These music sessions will focus on playing the ukulele, singing, having fun and enjoying music as part of a creative group. Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of their musical background; you do not need to know anything about making music or playing the ukulele to participate – the focus is on fun and enjoying music.
There will be a small number of ukuleles and some percussion instruments available for people to use during the sessions. If you already have an instrument, please do bring it along with you.
The workshops cost £3 per session and will operate on a drop-in basis. Everyone is encouraged to come along and participate. The sessions will be delivered in English, although, speakers of other languages are warmly welcome to join.
