‘Time to Fly’ Exhibition

Free The ‘Time to Fly’ children’s art project is thrilled to be exhibiting in The Mill’s children’s area.

The project celebrates and is inspired by the industrial heritage of the Blackhorse Lane and Higham Hill areas of Walthamstow. The children and young people involved in the project all live in the area and are creating a piece of public artwork that will be exhibited in the Blackhorse Lane regeneration area.

The project is delivered by Waltham Forest Arts in Education Network and funded by Health Lives, 51 Community Interest Companies raising money to address health inequalities across, England, Scotland and Wales through The Health Lottery.

The children (aged 4-11years old) attend art workshops on Saturday mornings delivered by Inky Cuttlefish Studios. They can be seen from Tuesday May 20th with an opening on 29th May – and running on after the Art Trail till 5th July.
