Share UK are running a fascinating workshop on how to use museum archives to research local history. This would be especially suited to those interested in family and migration history, especially those of Polish heritage. We will cover issues such as planning a research project and how to make friends with archivists. Suitable for anyone over 16 years. No previous experience necessary.
Those who attend will then join a team of volunteers on field trips to museums across London to help research a project about the history of Polish migration. These will take place during office hours over the month following the training. It is preferred that a volunteer application form is completed prior to attendance at the workshop.
