What’s On this week 20th August

Welcome to another warm week in August at the Mill! If you are interested in Volunteering at The Mill you can check out the Volunteer page here -just a reminder, our volunteer coordinator is normally here on Saturday from 12-2 but this week on 24th August, Alison will be here from 11-1pm.

At The Mill all week, our latest art show is the Waltham Forest Arts Club Summer Exhibition-a group show by  a selection of artists represented by Waltham Forest Arts Club.

Tuesday 9.30 High Street Ward Labour (Councillor surgery) is open, alongside the Job Shop (if you need help and advice, then will be lots of help here today).

Wednesday from 10-12, join us for a Family History Workshop to mark the International Day for the remembrance of the slave trade and its abolition. Details here.

Wednesday welcomes the Book Club at 7pm This month’s book is :  The Island of Dr Moreau – H. G Well.

Thursday 12-2pm  the Asian Women’s Support Group returns- a friendly group for Asian women to socialise and learn skills led by Amarjit.  At 7pm, Ashtanga Yoga continues in our relaxing Garden Room: Josetta’s class is suitable for all adults with no/little experience of yoga or those wishing to learn Ashtanga.

Friday sees the drop in knitting club and also Writing Life Histories continues it’s journey, info here on our calendar on all of these classes and events.
