This week sees the final days of the Marshes exhibition. It’s your last chance to see a terrific collection of paintings, drawings and photographs by local artists, many of which are for sale. And if you are interested in your local area, why not come along on Thursday from 8 till 9pm to the inaugural meeting for the St James Park Friends group- share and discuss ideas to support St James Park, everyone welcome. And on Friday 28th from 2-3pm as part of Herbal Medicine Awareness Week (Fri 21st-Sunday 30th June 2013) local medical herbalists Rasheeqa Ahmad (Hedge Herbs) and Charm Elakil (Holistic Medicine) will be giving an open talk on western herbal medicine. On Thursday join Mo and get creative-this Drop in club is for children and the young at heart, starting at 3.30. All materials provided and a donation of £2 welcome-work on display is a fabulous collage called “Happy Street”. Something new from Grow your own Theatre this week on Friday is a chance to join in playing, pretending, and making for the littlest adventurers (18 months to 3) alongside regular weekly yoga and dance classes for children.
