The Mill’s next exhibition is Softer – a follow-up to last year’s popular Soft show.
This is our call to all artists, craftspeople, makers who work with fabric, yarn or thread, including quilters, embroiderers, fabric printers, collage-makers, knitters, and people who crochet, weave or spin.
Please submit up to 3 pieces of work on either Tuesday 20, Friday 21 or Saturday 22 June at The Mill between 10am and 6pm.
The fee is £10 per piece (£5 unwaged), with a maximum fee of £20 for 3 pieces (£10 unwaged) – it will be the same price to submit 2 or 3 pieces.
The dates for the exhibition will shortly be confirmed. Terms and conditions will be available from The Mill once the dates are fixed – or you can email mo@themill-coppermill.org.
All 2D pieces must be able to hang on the wall, whether fixed to a baton, or with sewn rings, or properly framed with D rings. No clip art. There is room for some three-dimensional soft sculpture.
There will be a celebratory meet the artists event and some workshops as part of the exhibition, with dates and topics to be confirmed. If you would like to run your own related workshop, please contact us.
