Community Room at Lea Bridge is ready to use – and for free!

workingtogether

From May to July 2013, people can use the Community Room at Lea Bridge Library for new projects – and for free!

All you have to do is let us know your idea for using the space in a way which will help your local area. Lea Bridge residents are forming a team with us to look at these ideas and choose the best, and then you’ll have the chance to start bringing the Community Room to life!

Let us know your ideas: you might have a new plan which you want to develop, or a group activity which needs a home, or a skill which you love and want to teach to others. This is a perfect chance to bring the room back to the Lea Bridge community.

We are especially interested in projects which benefit the elderly, young people and families, as well as people with health or disability needs and their carers. Above all, it should be a project which benefits local people. All the details about the room are here in our simple Q+A.

To apply, fill in the details on Lea Bridge project proposals form, and let us know all about how you’d make things happen in Lea Bridge. You can email the answers to alison@themill-coppermill.org or leave your form in the dedicated postbox in Lea Bridge Library. If you want to talk more about the project, or see the potential of the available space, just get in touch with Alison.

The deadline is Friday 26th April, and you will hear back from us by 1st May.

I look forward to hearing all the ideas, and I can’t wait to start working with some of you soon!
