Live at The Mill on Tuesday 26 March – the young people of Grow Your Own Theatre!
At 6.30pm, the Theatremakers (8-11 year olds) present Cirque D’etonner, a fabulous circus extravaganza – with clowns, juggling and knife-throwing. But watch out for a few dastardly characters who want to spoil the fun!
At 7pm, the Youth Theatre (11-15 year olds) will take you on a quest to find The Lake of Prekvapeni. Everyone has a different reason they need to make the long and hard journey, but not everyone has enough supplies. Will they all find what they are looking for?
Missing cats who have adventures, spies with special skills, pineapples that are now extinct – all of these are ideas that have arisen by young people during rehearsals for Grow Your Own Theatre’s latest shows. Not all ideas make it, but the young company work together (with Creative Director, Sarah and Drama Assistant, Tania) to develop the best into imaginative and entertaining theatre -in just ten weeks!
