What`s On 19th – 24th February

Half term is here and so many exciting things are awaiting. As always we have the Kids room open with lots of books to read from and all colourful toys to play with!!  All week we have fun packed activities to take part in.

On Tuesday, we have Grow Your Own Theatre where budding young actors can take part in drama and theatre making.

Come  and join us on Wednesday at the Family Learning Workshop where you can find out about the The People of Waltham Forest with objects to see and touch  explore the history of the multi-ethnic,multi-faith community that is Waltham Forest. Stay and draw some of the objects you like.  Free, but donations are requested.

Thursday is the day when you can have a go on designing your very own backpack to take home. Sounds great??
Then take part in  The Rainbow Craft session  by booking a place at reception or contact Linsey louisclaw@hotmail for more details. To avoid disappointment act fast and book your place!  Also later on the day there is a weekly Drop in craft session for kids. So enjoy messing about with art materials and make things to take with you or give to The Mill.

A celebration for the artists in “We Love Walthamstow”. A new exhibition at The Mill that you must see!!
35 very varied pieces of work by 35 very different and talented people  including Gillian Lawrence. Appreciate great work and have your  chance to meet and talk to these artists about their artwork. Note , there will be some nibbles and songs by Mark Unwin!!

An  invitation for you to  sample some poetry over a glass of Mill punch and a chance to buy their first publication. Suggested donation £2.50 for The Mill. Copies of the illustrated collection £7.00
