Video artists and live A/V performers D-Fuse invite the residents of Walthamstow to show us your area how you see it. In a number of workshops throughout the day we are building a collection of photos and descriptions that show the area from the view of the people who live there. The photos will then be put into a slideshow and combined with comments that come up during our discussions. They will be shown on the screen at The Mill, as well as in Leytonstone and Nottingham.
We would like to use the screen at The Mill as a link between different communities in the area, enabling people to share experiences and interact with each other and with their local communities, building new friendships in the process.
We want to encourage the community to get further involved interacting with the images on the screens as well as online.
