What`s On 20th – 25th November

Hello !! This week is a busy one.
Fun activities are taking place so most importantly do not miss the Christmas Craft Fair Saturday 24 November 12:30 to 4:30pm!!!  Our Mill cake bakers are busy baking, lots of beautiful gifts on sale from local craft makers, including gorgeous knits for all, there’s jewellery, cards, candles, toys, beautiful prints and homewares and lots, lots more!!
The Mill`s new exhibition starts on Tuesday 20th called Walthamstow in Perspective. It is of 50 Photographs by Duncan Holmes – exploring details of old and new buildings which make Walthamstow the unique and characterful place it is. A celebration of local urban architecture.  Also Yoga is on two nights per week, so if you couldn’t get into Wednesdays busy class, there is another session on Tuesdays 7.15-8.45.
A note to make in your diary that The Coppermill Poets are now meeting weekly on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 8:00pm. And guitar lessons from beginners to improvers take place on Sundays between 12pm and 2pm. Don`t forget about the Art Therapy workshop on Thursdays. It is about drawing on your natural creative processes with the guidance of the Art Therapist, you produce a piece of work in each session.  With the support of other group members, you can find helpful meanings in what you make.
On Sunday come and join your Community for Breakfast from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm  and do walk off those croissants after  on a Freedom walk and talk to explore the struggles for a multi-faith,multi-ethnic community in Waltham Forest. It is  starting at the Mill Coppermill Lane Walthamstow E17 at 2.00 pm finishing at 3.30pm is the Black presence in Waltham Forest from the 1740’s.This will be the first in a series of walks led by Peter Ashan.
