10:00 to 11:00 Wriggly Rhythms
Wriggly Rhythms is a group for babies and toddlers who want to sing with their parents and carers. During a 45 minute session, they will get the opportunity to sing songs, shake shakers, meet puppets, dance, listen and, of course, sing. A variety of songs from traditional nursery rhymes and counting songs to less familiar songs around themes that change every half term. Lots of repetition provides familiarity and a good foundation for learning while, for parents, it’s the opportunity to learn new songs to sing at home of dust off your memories to keep the traditional rhymes alive. Are you a disabled person? Are you a Carer? Or are you or someone in your family elderly and keen to stay fit and independent. WFDRC is a local charity which has been helping people like you for over 20 years. At the Mill we are holding 10 taster sessions of activities which include armchair exercises, memory games, healthy living, reminiscing, and local and family history. These session will start on Friday 14 September and continue every Friday until 16 November 2012 From 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
