The Magical Marvellous Pet Show comes to the Mill on Thursday 16 February. This half term, children visiting The Mill will be able to work with Sarah from Grow Your Own Theatre to make their very own bean bag pet, and give it a name and a story.
Parents can enjoy a coffee at the Mill or do some shopping, then come back 45 minutes later to watch the pets show off their tricks in the Magical Marvellous Pet Show. What tricks? You decide!
Grow Your Own Theatre is a new social enterprise set up by Walthamstow resident, mother and ex-teacher Sarah Chase. The company makes shows from scratch with young people – helping even the very young to create and star in their own adventures and stories.

Meet Floopy and Jimb – made by Amy and Tyler aged 5 and 3. This is Floopy. Floopy likes to eat bugs and strawberries and has a special trick where she jumps through hoops.
This is Jimb. Jimb is a “bit like a spider”. He can go very small, so no-one can see him.
