Come to this workshop and join an exploration of shape and form, inspired by the natural world, in cut paper.
Taking inspiration from plant forms, wild flowers, leaf and branch parts of different plants, many from nearby marshes and verges, the workshop will encourage participants to observe and reproduce images of nature in its amazing differentiation and wonderful variety.
Working from organic forms from the natural world, participants will be encouraged to adopt various techniques to make silhouettes that emphasise shape and form.
The workshop will be the first in a series. Later sessions will adopt other techniques to create abstract and decorative art.
