Coppermill Recycled Teenagers with our Local Mayor and Councillors

Sewing Workshop – 12pm – 2pm

Come and learn how to sew, and also help make cushion for the chairs at The Mill!

Thursday 15th Sept

Jeans Patchwork Classes – 10am – 12pm

Using donated jeans and other denim patches we will decorate the newly made curtains at The Mill. Bring just yourself and any clean jeans (any size, any condition, but it has to be clean) and with the help of experienced sewing tutor Jennie Caminada (from cheekyhandmades) we will transform the plain curtains into true local community art. These free workshops will also act as raster sessions for up and coming sewing classes at the Mill. More info to follow.

Friday 16th Sept

Knitting Workshop – 10am – 12pm

Sessions to help learn basic knitting skills.

Drawing Lessons for adults – 2pm – 4pm

Have you always wanted to draw? Do you want to improve your drawing? Come to the Mill this Friday, 2pm – 4pm and Sergio Fabio Ferrari will show you how. He was trained in Milan at the oldest Art Academy in Europe and has been successfully teaching drawing for many years. This FREE class is for adults. Beginners welcome.

Cllr Claire Coghill Surgery – 9:30 am – 11.30am

Meeting Space for people to come in and talk to the Councillor about any council issue you may have.

Coppermill Recycled Teenagers (Local Senior Citizens Group Meeting)

Are you 60 and over? If so, you are invited to attend a tea party with our special guest The Mayor and the Mayoress of Waltham Forest to celebrate the launch of the over 60’s group (aka the Coppermill Recycled Teenagers)
