Exhibit your art at The Mill

Are you a local artist? An amateur photographer? Sculptor, painter?

Whether you’re an Arts Trail veteran or you’ve never quite got around to entering. Why not take the plunge and be part of the first E17 Art Trail exhibition at The Mill?

“MAKING OUR MARK”
a show of works from the whole community
3rd to 23rd of September 2011

We are looking for one piece of work per artist for the exhibition. The categories are: painting, drawing, mixed media, photography and printing.

(max size 50 x 70cm; max weight 2.30kg )
Works must be ready to be hung on the wall.

Work to be delivered to the Mill, 7 – 11 Coppermill Lane E17 between 18th – 20th August

“Making Our Mark” the group exhibition at The Mill will be open during the 2011 E17 Art Trail, 3,4,6,7,8,9,10th September and will stay up till Sept 23rd.

There will be a celebratory gala opening of The Mill on Thursday 8th September and all the artists will be invited.

THE RULES (IN DETAIL):
One art piece can be entered per artist for free in the following categories:
painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, and printing (max size cm 50 x 70; max weight Kg 2.30).
labelled at the back, and presented to The Mill, 7 – 11 Coppermill Lane, E17, between 18th and 20th August. (10 – 4pm)

A disclaimer and entry form will need to be completed agreeing on the terms and conditions.

A selection will be carried out and only artists not accepted will be contacted.

Terms and Conditions

1 Where possible the exhibitors will come from the Blackhorse Road area or nearby.

2 Exhibits will not be insured by The Mill and if the artist is concerned in any way, it is recommended that the exhibitor take out their own insurance.

3 Exhibitors will deliver and collect their own work on the agreed dates as specified on the entry form.

4 A maximum of one work per artist may be submitted.

5 All works must be signed, labelled at the back, and ready to hang.
They can be stretched canvas, mounted on card, or properly framed and suitable strung.
No clip frames accepted.

6 An entry form with contact details needs to be filled in and signed prior to exhibiting.

7 All personal details and information provided by the exhibitors will not be given or shared to any third party and will only be used by The Mill.

8 Artists can if they so wish, provide a contact for the public such as a website or email address. They will have to indicate the specific information in the space provided on the entry form.

9 A selection of works will be carried out by a Committee designated by The Mill and only artists who are not accepted will be contacted.
