What’s On: 4th – 12th November

Drop in to the living room any day, there will be pens and paper for would be novelists, spoonfuls of words for sale, and crossword puzzles, books, plus ask at reception for board games! On Tuesday Atty’s Musical Steps returns at 10am for a 45 minute session, for babies and toddlers.  Have fun making music with your child! Regular Yoga and parent/baby yoga returns on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (Adults 19.15-20.45, on both evenings, Parent/Baby at 10 and 11.30 on Wednesday).  Thursday sees the return of the Kids Drop-in Art club at 3.30 with Kirsten Schmidt (Artist) who will lead a one off print workshop. Come and make a print using alphabet letters.  Small donation of £2 welcome. On Friday, regular knitting is at 10am and there are two interesting workshops today: Smiling While You Work: Join us to find out how to get and keep healthy while you become wealthy….! For children, Lick The Pencil children’s creative writing workshops running from 5-6pm start this Friday for four sessions, until 29th November. Ages 7-10, a cost applies, check the calendar for details.

A busy weekend starts with Grow your own Theatre Saturday Seedlings: children take part in a making activity, then use their creation to inspire their very own stories!  Also on Saturday the popular Give or Take Day returns: You can GIVE away your unwanted items from 10.30am to 12.30pm and/or TAKE things you can  use from 1 to 3pm. And a fun day for Sunday: Waste Watch are hosting a Swishing event at the Mill!. Clothes can be dropped off between 1 – 2.  event 2 – 5pm : An event to raise awareness about textile waste and have fun!  Also beneficial to the community, providing an opportunity to get free clothes and pass on those that are no longer/have never been worn.Spread the word!
