On Saturday the 2nd of July members of a local garden squad met at The Mill to make one of the two maxi planters which will decorate the community building.
Planters have been made out of recycled scafolding boards and will be filled up with compost made out of local waste that the council recycles and plants that neighbors are donating.
Volunteers participating in the activity learned, shared and developed DIY skills and became confident in using safely a range of building tools.
